Guided Walking Holidays

On a Wycheway Country Walks guided walking holiday all you
have to do is to safely arrive at your accommodation on the first
day and we will take care of the rest of the arrangements until
you depart for home on the last day.

You will join a group of between five and fifteen other guests.

Your accommodation will be in either a comfortable hotel or
equivalent standard farmhouse or guesthouse with en-suite
facilities in a twin-bedded or double room. In general you will
walk about 10 miles a day, seldom will it be more unless it is
unavoidable. Most days you will be back at your
accommodation by 5.00 p.m. to enjoy your evening meal and a
relaxing evening. On most linear walks you walk to a different
accommodation each night, with luggage transfer arranged for
you. On some routes you may be centrally based and
transferred to and from the walk each day.

Guided Walks - Short Breaks

In general these follow the same format as the longer holiday
except that you will stay in the one accommodation.

A non-residential option is available on some of the guided
short breaks. You will be responsible for your accommodation
and meals. Please contact us for further details.

What's Included.

Accommodation as described above, breakfast, a simple
packed lunch on each walking day. Evening meals if you
choose this option. All necessary transfers to complete the
walk are included as well as the services of our walk leader(s).

Guided Day Walks

On these walks we meet at a
central point. We then arrange
transport to take you to the start,
and return you from the end, of
the walk. Cost of the transport,
and services of walks leader are
included, meals and
accommodation are not included.

Self-guided walking Holidays and Short
Breaks

Our self-guided walking holidays and short breaks are those
where you walk with your friends without a guide. We supply
maps and route directions and arrange your accommodation.
On some routes, and the short breaks, you will be centrally
based and transferred to and from the walk each day. In most
cases you walk to a different accommodation each night, with
luggage transfer arranged for you.

We have considerable experience in fully organising this type
of holiday. We will make all the arrangements leaving you free
to enjoy a relaxing walking experience - at your own pace.

What's Included.

Accommodation in a guest house with en-suite facilities
(where available) in a twin-bedded or double room on a bed
and breakfast basis.

Packed lunch on each walking day. Map(s), full walk
description, either produced by ourselves or a suitable
equivalent. Luggage transfers between accommodation or
transfers to the start and from the end of the walks if you are
not changing accommodation.
