Our walks will take you to some of these places off the beaten
track, alongside gentle meandering rivers such as the Coln and
Windrush.
|
Walking along ancient tracks, some Roman and some salt roads
we pass ancient burial mounds (long barrows), evidence of old
farming techniques, the remains of the wool and silk industry
that was once so important to this area. There are many fine
manor houses with extensive parkland, churches and Roman
remains. The rolling landscape and quiet wooded valleys are a
haven for the wildlife.
|
We have an extensive range of walking holidays in the
Cotswolds.
|
For those who want no more than a couple of days enjoying a
short break we can offer a selection of about 20 walks in
various locations throughout this area. These are priced at just
£99 per person for 2days/2nights.
|
Those who require a short break with a difference can try the
Cotswold Gardens break or the Steam Railway break on the
Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway.

|
The Monarch's Way in the Cotswolds follows a route that visits
many of the popular villages as well as some of the lesser
known locations. It is a very attractive walk in its own right
starting from Mickleton in the north and walking through the
heart of the Cotswolds to Tetbury.
