Enjoy a two day relaxing, gentle walking break in your
favourite part of the country away from the stress, the crowds
and the traffic.
You will be based in one location for these two day breaks.
We provide you with a selection of walks within the area for
you to make your own choice. Some of the routes will include
places of local interest. Most locations are ideally suited for
those travelling by public transport.
We arrange the accommodation and provide a selection of at
least five walks ( 5 to 8 miles) with full description and map(s).

Linear Walks
There is also a selection of linear walking routes that can
be completed within two, three, or four days. For most of
these walks you will be based in one location and we will
arrange transport to and from each days walk.
The Dart Valley Trail.
A 17 mile undulating walk exploring the Dart
Valley between Totnes and Dartmouth.
Connects with ferries and steam railways.
Three Castles Walk.
An 18 mile, 2 day undulating circular
walk which visits the Norman
fortresses of Skenfrith, White Castle
and Grosmont on the Welsh border
near Abergavenny.
Arden Way.
In the area of Warwickshire countryside
known as the Forest of Arden. This 26 mile 3
day easy walk passes Coughton Hall with its
connections to the gunpowder Plot, Henley-
in- Arden and Alcester.
Purbeck Way.
An undulating walk around the Isle of Purbeck
amongst varied and spectacular scenery. The
walk starts at Wareham and passes through
Corfe Castle and Swanage. The basic circuit is
an undulating 24 miles but this can easily be
extended to 2 or 3 days.
St Swithins Way.
A 35 mile, gentle 4 day walk from Winchester,
the capital of Saxon England, along the
Itchen Valley to Farnham

Car Free Walks.
The locations marked * are easily accessible by
public transport. A minimum of two of the walks
can be accessed direct from the accommodation
or by a short bus journey. Transport from the
local station to accommodation (if required) will
be included.
